Natural Lip Gloss For Natural Lips

Picking the right shade of lipstick or lip gloss that matches your lips color can be pretty tricky, but it isn't so complicated after all. In this age of fashion, style demands that you put into consideration every single detail in your outfit and that includes your lipstick.

Titanium dioxide is one of the whitest materials known on earth and is also called titanium white and E171. It is used in a variety of products to provide whiteness and opacity, from cosmetics including lip gloss, to paint, sunscreen, food coloring and a protective coating for car parts. It is also used to mark the white lines on tennis courts.

It is a potential carcinogen. Just like all other brands, Natural Ice lip balm is manufactured primarily to provide another choice for women who are looking for a way that can prevent or even cure chapped lips especially during extreme weather.

This is somehow similar to skin care since it mainly revolves in the desire to provide hydration and moisture. Even in the time of any commercial assignments make-up artists focus mainly on eye and lip make-up. It is very important to give proper shape of your lips and make a proper underline. Trendy looks keep on changing. Now days the matte look is said to be the flavour of the season.

When it comes to lip makeup, lip gloss always remains an integral part and it is something that never goes out of fashion. Instead of trying lip injections made from synthetic products, why not use something natural like cinnamon oil? This can be bought online or in a store anywhere across the world without it costing a bomb. There are also many other lip plumping products on the market which are all for topical use.

To use the cinnamon oil to plump your lips naturally, apply 1 drop of cinnamon oil to each lip. That is no longer the cases these days however with the introduction of many cosmetic manufacturers producing lip glosses and lip sticks with reported plumping properties which, in some cases, have shown great results for so many women.

Not only that but there have even been studies that have shown that various things that you can do at home have resulted in plumper lips although only slightly but this is a big step for the women of the world! The number of women shelling our thousands of dollars to have materials implanted or fillers injected is staggering, but what is even more shocking is that most of these women will end up unhappy with the results of their procedures.

They will often go back to the doctor's office again and again trying to fix what has been done...and as is the case with so many, it just gets worse and worse...to the point that they end up looking downright scary! It is important to use protection. Sometimes dry, chapped or cracked lips can lead to severe and painful situations. The cracks could become infected or the lips could bleed.

This can be miserable and disrupting to everyday living. A qualified physician should see severe conditions. There are steps you can do, though, for protection to avoid reaching these severe conditions.

Tips For Choosing The Perfect Gloss For Your Lips

One should remember that perfection is ten percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration. So searching for the lip gloss that best suits the lip color and lip tone one has is an endeavor that requires patience, perseverance and a little (just a little) bit of luck. Hopefully, the following tips will better the chances of discovering the lip gloss that best suits the lips you have on you.

1. Be open, do not forget to experiment!

There are numerous brands of lip gloss and the prices of each vary. A $7 lip gloss bought at a neighborhood drugstore is not necessarily inferior in quality compared to an $18 Poole lip gloss compact. Lips could only appreciate the texture, smoothness, silkiness of the gloss or feel its heaviness, stickiness, or icky-ness.

Little do lips care about how much the lip gloss cost or where it was bought. Though high-end lip glosses at times do offer a super-glossy feel that it almost glides delightfully on the lips, there are also not too expensive lip glosses like Bonne Bell which could give the high-end brands a run for their money.

A label is not everything. Sometimes, a great find could be found in dollar stores. Try your luck, win or lose, its all worth a dollar. But, if buying in a drugstore or at Wal-mart, make sure that extensive research has been done on the lip gloss product you are considering of buying since drugstores offer no testers.

 2. A Gloss Is Not Forever -

Reapply to preserve the dye -
Some brands, even the best ones, fade off after a few hours -
Some people really do not like the feel of a heavy gloss -
Judge by your lip color not anyone else's

 3. Selection Tips

Make sure to choose a lip gloss based on the lip color you have since the color of your lips automatically affects the color of the gloss applied on it. Never choose based on how good or bad a lip gloss looks on Jennifer Anniston or Angelina Jolie. Jennifer has thin pale lips while Angelina has full pucker-up ones. Naturally, yours is similarly worlds apart from theirs, if not better. Lip gloss colors appear differently on different kinds of people. One's own lip color plays an important part because your natural lip color will shine through. So does your natural lip tone, the pigmentation of the lip gloss, how convenient is it when applied and whatever it is you're looking for a lip gloss. Clearly this is as unique, individual and personalized as it could be.

 4. Not All That Glitters Is Good

No matter how great it looks, make sure that the lip gloss put on the lips feels comfortable, as if it's almost like it wasn't there. Lip gloss glitter that feels gritty or sharp should not be tolerated by the lips or by you. Do not be afraid to return it to the store and politely explain to the store clerk or - preferably - the store manager your problem. It should be exchanged for another less grittier tube. But if the same trouble persists maybe it is time to change to a different brand, specifically one that has not too much glitter that it hurts.

 5. Moisturize!

Be realistic, lip gloss gives lips a smooth shimmer, it does not provide anyone with kissable cottony-soft lips. Lip balms do that. Balms are not shiny. But it makes lips feel supple. Apply a balm over the lips first before putting on a lip gloss, this is to moisturize the lips. Gloss is supposed to be - you've guessed it - glossy. If it does not, troop to the shop or store where it was bought from, you are supposed to get the product you purchased for.

How To Look Younger With Lip Gloss!

Lip Gloss provides the final touch to your makeup; without it no look is complete. For a perfect result, you will need a steady hand, some practice, the correct implementation and a knowledge of the correct techniques.

 What You Would Need?

A narrow, flat ended brush, a selection of finely sharpened lip pencils, lip gloss and lipstick (either the conventional tube lipstick or the cream type with a sponge-tip applicator. If your lip colour is uneven, then you will need a special lip base or balancer-use a lighter tone on the dark areas and a dark tone on the light areas. These balancers also form a base for lipstick and help to keep the colour of the lipstick pure and clear.

A creamy and shimmery lip pencil smoothens lip tone and thus lends a better look to the lip gloss effect. Ladies with light and medium skin color should use pale natural shades of pencil for defining the lips and give them a better shape along with clear lip gloss with a sheer silver shimmer for a natural look.

To make your lips appear soft and light pink, you can line them with pink lip pencil and use the pink-toned lip-gloss. The other shades that will suit them are light mauve, plum with a bit of sheer shimmer gold, pinkish red that may have the touch of sheer shimmer gold, red and red brown. Dark-skinned ladies can try soft pink, reddish brown and deep brown shades of lip pencils with a lighter or similar shade of lip gloss for their lips to look fuller and fresh.

For some extra gloss, roll the wand applicator on the back of your hand until it collects in a tiny mound. Then scoop it up using the lip brush and spread it evenly on your lips. For feathering lips or lips having fine lines, gloss should only be used on the center of the lips. Too soft and creamy lip pencils get even more softened by the application of the lip gloss and may cause feathering.

Targeting the application of lip gloss on the middle of the bottom lip makes thin lips appear bigger and fuller while to make too full tips look thinner, use deep matter lip colors only and avoid glossy finishes. For a daytime look that lasts all the day long, use a soft lip pencil to define the lips, use natural color lipstick, blot it with the tissue and avoid the gloss but in night, blend the pencil line with the lipstick using sponge applicator, to make lips appear fuller and get that spouty look and gloss them over.

Lip-gloss directed to the center of the mouth makes your lips look fuller while you can avoid matte lipsticks from drying and flaking by using a lip primer or color fixative before applying it. Special effects and highlights can be achieved by using sheer silver, gold or iridescent lip gloss over lip color. For evening special effects, apply a sheer lip-gloss in silver, gold or an iridescent shade over the lip color.

Vitamin E is good for lips to give them a natural glow while lip balm must be applied before applying lipstick to keep your lips moisturized, nourished and naturally rosy. It also prevents the lips from drying and developing of cracks. Lip gloss add the emphasis to the lips but smooth lips make it easier to glide on and lip gloss lasts longer on them. Even, if you are opting for a matte lip color; apply the lip balm before applying lipstick. Use creamy lipsticks for daily use to keep the lips moisturized
and add an intense wet look with the help of lip gloss while transforming your makeup from daytime look to a night party look.

A Guide to Choosing the Best Lip Gloss For the Workplace

Women have a lot of choices when it comes to what they wear at the office. There's clothing, of course, and shoes and hairstyles, and each of those have specific guides. But there aren't many guides, which help pick a lip gloss which is appropriate to wear at work. There are many factors which affect what kind of lip gloss works best for the office. For instance, how long does the gloss stay on, or is the gloss is too colorful.

Here are some facts to help you choose a lip gloss for work.Working women have a lot more to juggle than their male counterparts. In the mornings there is make up to put on, hair to blow dry and style, outfit selection, briefcase packing, purse packing, and often times, preparing children for school.I'm not saying men having easy, they have to select ties and shave and sometimes they even help with kids, but applying makeup, and packing a purse are delicate procedures and require lots of thought. This is why it's so important to have the best lip gloss in your purse.

Benefit Lip Gloss Review

It's much easier to pack when have only one item, rather than two; a lipstick, and a gloss.Plumping lip glosses work in two different ways; they use a natural reaction to an irritant, like cinnamon, to swell your lips. Or they have collagen which fills in the lines of your lips and gives the appearance of fuller lips. While some plumping glosses have a lot of color, and gloss, many can make your lips seemed too full. It's best to find a gloss that only fills in the natural lines of your lips so they appear slightly fuller, not swollen.

Another reason a pumping gloss isn't a good idea to have at work, is that glosses which use ingredients to swell the lips only work for a short period of time, 15 minutes usually, which means they need to be reapplied often.A lip gloss which has dark color, or sheer color, may be inappropriate. At work, it's preferable to use a gloss with only slight color so that your lips look natural.

Investing in a Lip Gloss Set

A light pink or peach is a good choice to use at the office. High shine gloss, and any gloss with sparkle effect, is also definitely not appropriate for the office. These glosses appeal to teenagers usually, however, they are particularly nice to wear during an evening out at any age.Flavored gloss is personal choice, although I would stay away from fruity aromas in the workplace.

A good flavor in a gloss can make wearing it a lot easier. The best lip gloss to use at work is one which does not have to be reapplied often, can be worn in any situation, and has a light color. Some recommendations for plumping gloss which gives the appearance of fuller lips are: Maybelline Volume XL Seduction Lip Plumper and Bare Escentuals Buxom Lips. Mac LipGlass Lip Gloss adds shine that lasts a long time, but can be slightly sticky. All three brands have great color choices.
